How Rignetic Is Funded
Rignetic is free to read. It is funded by two things: display advertising (served by Google AdSense) and partner offers for games we cover. This page explains the second one.
What Counts as an Affiliate Offer
Some links and banners on Rignetic are affiliate or partner offers. This includes the game banners shown at the top of pages, in the sidebar, between article listings, and in the bar at the bottom of the screen, as well as links that go through a rignetic.com/go/ address. If you click one of these and then install a game, create an account, or make a purchase, Rignetic may earn a commission or a fee from the partner.
This costs you nothing extra: the price you pay and the rewards you receive are the same as if you had gone to the partner directly.
Our Editorial Independence
Partner offers do not decide which games we cover, what a guide recommends, what a news post reports, or the score a review gives. Those calls are made on editorial grounds, and they are argued from sourced evidence. A game having a partner offer on Rignetic is not an endorsement, and a game without one is not covered any less carefully.
How Offers Are Marked
Partner banners and affiliate links open in a new tab and are tagged as sponsored in the page code. Ads served by Google AdSense are labelled "Advertisement". If you are ever unsure whether a link is a partner offer, assume it may be, or ask us.
Partner Terms
Offers, bonuses, and promotions are set by the partner and can change or end at any time. Anything you download, sign up for, or buy is subject to the partner's own terms and privacy policy.
Questions
If you have a question about a specific offer or about how we work with partners, email contact@rignetic.com. More about how we handle data is in our Privacy Policy.
