Gryphline released Arknights: Endfield on Steam on October 15, 2026, the same day the game's "Sanctuary of Ink" version update went live across all platforms, adding the new Wuling area of Si's Painting, the 6-star operators Si and Argent Flow, and a countryside inn players can run themselves, according to the official Steam launch announcement. Arknights: Endfield on Steam and Cross-Platform Progression
The Steam version shares account data with every other platform, so players who started on the GRYPHLINK launcher, the Epic Games Store, PS5, iOS, or Android can continue on the same account. Gryphline had announced the October 15 date on October 6, when the game passed 300,000 Steam wishlists. That milestone unlocked every wishlist reward for all players through the redemption code ENDFIELDSTEAM: 8,000 T-Creds, two Elementary Cognitive Carriers, two Arms INSP Sets, and a special commemorative portrait frame. The code can be redeemed until November 25 at 23:59 (UTC+8) on Asian servers and November 25 at 10:59 (UTC-5) on Americas and Europe servers.
Servers went down for the update on October 14 from 17:00 to 23:00 (UTC-5) in the Americas and Europe, and on October 15 from 06:00 to 12:00 (UTC+8) in Asia. Players who created a character before the update receive 900 Oroberyl as maintenance compensation and another 900 Oroberyl for bug fixes, sent in two separate in-game mails.
What the Sanctuary of Ink Update Adds
The main story continues up to Chapter II Process VIII, "Paint with Fresh Ink," and opens the Wuling area of Si's Painting. The headline system is Yuanyuan Manor Inn, where players grow crops, raise animals, prepare ingredients, and serve travelers, tied to the "Yuanyuan's Blazing Stoves" event and its rewards of up to 1,000 Oroberyl. The update also adds four 6-star weapons, Jade Vessel, Lunar Calling, Long Heritage, and Complexed Industry, along with quality-of-life changes to AIC Factory facility placement, farming, and delivery jobs, more flexible combat targeting with Combo Skill priority settings, and a new Gear Plan feature. Sanity Meds are now used automatically before they expire.
Si and Argent Flow Headhunting Schedule
The "Rejuvenation" Chartered Headhunting banner features Si as its Rate-UP operator and runs until November 5 at 11:59 server time. Argent Flow follows on "The Hearth Fire Beckons the Starry Flow" banner from November 5 at 12:00 until the next version update. Between them, the "Ancestral Spring Flows Anew" RE-Factor Headhunting brings back Tangtang from October 29 to November 19. Two sign-in events hand out up to 10 limited-time Headhunting Permits, including five from the seven-day "Spirit's Restoration" event.
Events Running Through November
The "All the Inky Hues" guide event rewards specified missions in Si's Painting with 1,200 Oroberyl until November 5. A camera event, "Carly's Verdant Anthology," runs from October 22 to November 5, the "Contingency Readiness" daily event from October 29 to November 5, and the "Arena of Games" challenge event from October 29 to November 19.
